Get Ready

At last, Windows 7 comes out tomorrow.

I’m a Mac user, but I spent the summer tinkering with the Windows 7 beta (thank you VMWare) and as far as my limited need for it went, I had no issues.

That being said, I’m definitely not the person to critique it. My use of Vista probably amounts to a couple hours total, so I really don’t have much to compare 7 to. Although with the $29.99 student deal, I definitely see myself picking it up for kicks in the near future.

The word on the street? It’s a solid update. A definite improvement with a few much-needed features that were sorely missing from Vista. I’ll have a compilation of more professional opinions plus a rundown on some of the best/worst features about the program tomorrow. Though chances are if you’re a Windows user, you’ve already made your decision.
