Choosing to title the "Is Guido the new N-Word?" is ridiculous. Obviously the author chose to do that only to draw attention to a piece of writing that capitalizes on yet another one of MTV's reality schemes. How do you think the majority of Italian-Americans feel about a bunch of tanned idiots, bringing even more shame to America, becoming the faces of, and "taking back", the word guido? Taking it back allows them to take control over what it means, as opposed to it being used as a derogatory term by others towards Italians, the way it started out.
