Getting “Lost” with Benjamin Linus

Ok, so I don’t know about you guys, but I really think “Lost” has mastered the making-a-bad-guy-fabulous thing. When Benjamin Linus first came to us as Henry Gale, I was like, who is this guy and why do we care? He’s so awkward, just get him off my screen please! And now, 3 seasons later, I can’t get enough of him. He’s so silly! “No, John, unfortunately we don’t have a code for there’s a man in my closet with a gun to my daughter’s head.” His lines are just the absolute best.

I recently purchased Netflix and my first mission was to catch up on “Lost.” Three weeks later I have fulfilled my mission, and I must say, most of the main characters don’t really do it for me. Sure, Sawyer is cute, and I’m hoping Jack and Kate end up together in the end or whatever, but none of them really grab my attention or sympathy like Ben Linus does. You can’t even call him just Ben, it’s Ben Linus. He’s so awesome. I’m going to go complete a list of all his best one-liners and get back to you guys. Sound good? Good. Tootles!

  1. I know it’s nitpicking, but it is only because I, too, am in love with Linus.

He called himself Henry Gale. It’s memorable because…”Uncle Henry! Uncle Henry! Auntie Em! Auntie Em!” and not being in Kansas anymore…and all that symbolism. 🙂
