MYLES STANDISH HALL & MYLES ANNEX

610 Beacon St.

Rooms Available:

Myles Standish Hall: Double and single rooms in suites and private singles with their own bathroom

Annex: Singles, doubles and triples

Claim to Fame: It’s that crazy looking building in Kenmore Square

Theme Song: Anything by Joan Baez (who once stayed in a room here)

Superlatives: Having the Creepiest Number of Residents (666)

Best History

Built in 1925, Myles Standish Hall was also originally a hotel. Babe Ruth, Martin Luther King Jr. and Howard Stern have all stayed here, making it automatically cooler. The floors are a bit of a maze, especially in the annex, and it is easy to get lost in the dining hall.

Residents are typically sophomores and up and the floors are fairly social. For the side facing Comm Ave., the glaring lights of the Citgo sign and the loud traffic can get a bit annoying, but the Kenmore Square location is super convenient for catching the T or heading downtown.
