Spring Nail Colors

If you’re basically five years old like me and you like loud, bright things that attract attention, then you’re going to love the Sally Hansen line of Insta-Dri nail color.

This line of nail-polish is absolutely my favorite of any brand I’ve tried by far. The colors are fun and exciting, the polish spreads well and the finished product won’t often chip. The array of colors is so wide that even if you have more conservative tastes, you’ll be able to find a color that suits you. (Also, the funky triangular shape of the bottle doesn’t hurt. I’m easily amused.)

In the last month, I’ve bought about seven different shades in the line. Of course I gravitated towards the bright yellows, violets and bright blues, but there are deeper plum colors and beige shades to cater to more traditional fashionistas.

I highly recommend these nail polishes for the spring season. The spring is all about color and expression, and these nail polishes have exactly that. The color that I’m currently wearing is called “Blazing Blue” (as depicted above) and I have received endless compliments about the shade since I put it on last weekend. Bright colors call attention to themselves and demand that they be noticed. If you like to be noticed, then these polishes are definitely for you. The adventurous fashionista will enjoy the wide array of bright hues available and the intense fashion statement that she (or he) can make by combining them.

The only downside is that these polishes retail for about $5.00 a bottle. In the short run, it’s not that much, but if you’re highly addicted to artificial nail pigments like I am, it can add up pretty quickly.

But be bold fashionistas! Check out the full line of colors here, pick your favorite and head over to the nearest CVS to start your new spring color adventure.
