Founded in the fall semester of 2009, The Quad grew quickly in staff, reputation, and readership, and now reaches thousands of BU students weekly. We are still growing. The Quad is written and managed by students, for students.
The Quad is influential. It has 3300 followers and counting between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, RSS, and its newsletter subscribers. Its staff members are leaders or former leaders of some of the most prominent organizations on campus. It is a Google News source. It is followed on Twitter by BU’s Dean of Students Kenneth Elmore, Facebook and Twitter by BU’s Executive Director of Student Activities and Operations John Battaglino, and countless other BU staff members.
The Quad is well-known.
