Over the past year, it seems that BU has had a growing interest in the tv-watching business. Shows such as “Lost,” “Glee,” and “The Jersey Shore” have created an uprise on our campus, and it seems that everyone is watching them and constantly referencing them in everyday conversations. But when you think about it, this [...](read more...)
Hello and welcome to the Television section’s newest feature, Let’s See That Again, where we highlight shows that were canceled much too soon or have already run their course but are still worth checking out.
Think of it this way: You just made the most amazing cake the world has ever seen. Then you drop it [...](read more...)
Ok, so I don’t know about you guys, but I really think “Lost” has mastered the making-a-bad-guy-fabulous thing. When Benjamin Linus first came to us as Henry Gale, I was like, who is this guy and why do we care? He’s so awkward, just get him off my screen please! And now, 3 seasons later, [...](read more...)
Though you wouldn’t know it from the looks of Comm Ave’s icy sidewalks, winter is slowly coming to a close and spring is on its way, which means nicer weather — and plenty of reasons to ignore it, stay in and watch television. Here is a look at this spring’s television schedule: what’s returning, what’s [...](read more...)

Last semester the show [...](read more...)

Now don’t get me wrong, all of the adjectives listed above are actually good things. “Sunny” [...](read more...)
The verdict is in. Don’t be embarrassed, I won’t tell anyone, just be honest. How much television do you watch per week? I’ve tallied my votes and yes, this is my final answer: I have a whopping 15 hours of TV that I must watch every week, not counting the hours upon hours of just [...](read more...)
Ahh. It feels so good when your favorite shows return after winter break, doesn’t it? “Supernatural” and “Greek” are back, and I had to forcibly stop myself from dancing around my room with glee while watching them. Here’s what you missed if you foolishly skipped the premieres to go to the library or something:
I must [...](read more...)
I’ve recently gotten into the BBC America series “Skins.” And by “gotten into,” I mean I watched the entire first two seasons in a matter of four days. In my defense the seasons are only nine to ten episodes long. Those silly Brits actually call them “volumes” or “series” instead of “seasons.” Isn’t that cute?

After weeks of negotiations, feuds, rallies, and bad decisions on NBC CEO Jeff Zucker’s part, Conan O’Brien’s departure from NBC and “The Tonight Show” has been finalized. O’Brien is being given $45 million in severance, a good portion of which he is handing over to his staff (approximately $13 million).
For those who have sided with [...](read more...)
