As posted on Boston University’s College of Communication website, BU’s radio station, WTBU, will be having an open award ceremony tonight at BU Central. Hosted by WTBU’s BU In the Morning Director Annie Berman, the event will be honoring its best shows of this semester’s programming, as well congratulating the “best intern” and “best DJ”of the semester.
The ceremony will include live performances from The Lonesome Mississippi Drifters, Vikesh Kapoor, and The Novel Ideas. There will also be appearances by Dean Elmoreand other BU administrators. The show starts at 8 p.m. The poll for the “Listener’s Choice Award” is still open to voters at http://wtburadio.org.
The event is fit for fans of WTBU, music, and/or WTBU sports and is the station’s last event for the semester. Refreshments will be provided. The station requests that attendees dress in semi-formal attire.
