A! Capella!

BU's a capella group, In Achord. The group hosted an evening of a cappella at Morse Auditorium on Saturday.

This past Saturday, three a cappella groups from Boston University participated in the annual northeast quarterfinals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella at Morse Auditorium. The BU group In Achord hosted the event and drew a nearly sold-out crowd. Berklee’s a cappella group Pitch Slapped won the night, and Northeastern’s Nor’easters were the runners-up, but the BU groups certainly had great performances as well.

I did a radio project on the night with Carolyn Berk, a senior at BU. Thanks to Christopher Wallace from In Achord for helping Carolyn and I figure out the logistics of the night. To stream/download the piece, click the player below.
