BU TweetCreep: October 15th – October 21st

By | Oct 21st, 2011

I don’t know if you know this, but there are some protests going on in the Boston and… well… around the world. Ever heard of Occupy Boston/Wall Street/Everywhere? Oh, you have heard of it? Well, then you may not know that I am the most apolitical person in existence. I shy away from debate and hesitate to form strong opinions. I avoid tweeting articles about the movement and protests (because I love posting pictures of baby animals too much). @BUOccupyBoston is on Twitter and rapidly gaining followers, and I watch from the sidelines. BUT… there is something I must comment on… the Occupy Boston Movement already has a spoof Twitter account: @BUs1percent.

And yes, the account is exactly as you would imagine, with tweets such as “Boats and hoes.”

At least they are kidding and poking fun (I hope) and not just straight up drinkin’ haterade. Because 1) lots of hateful tweets on Twitter make me anxious (why not just post pictures of baby animals?) and 2) @BUsucks is enough BU hatin’ negativity for one university.

ANYWHO, on to the happy, well-intentioned jokes!

Please explain that there is a difference between boilED and boilING, namely, a hospital visit. (Or at least a nasty tongue burn.)

NOTHING TOPS THE DEDICATION OF AN ATHLETE

How is it already the end of October? Red Hot Hockey is a month away! I guess we'd better start getting ready...

Red Hot Hockey

I mean, at least lace up the skates and stroll around the ice a little. Maybe even pick up a stick. But don’t strain yourself. It isn’t hockey season or anything.
