On Friday, February 8th, BU cancelled school because of the impending blizzard, nicknamed Nemo. When students awoke the next morning, the storm was dying off. By noon, the snow had let up and BU’s campus slowly came to life. The citywide parking ban was still in effect, and the streets were empty except for snowplows. After the blizzard, BU’s normally busy campus was calm and quiet, hushed by the snowfall.
