The Case of the Mysterious Flip Flops

Free flip flops for all! Okay, for the first 300 people, anyway. Friday (tomorrow), April 2 the Student Union will be giving away free American Eagle flip flops, according to the Facebook event that I was invited to (quoted extensively below):

The time has come. The weather’s supposed to be around 60 this friday and what better way to celebrate than with free flip flops? Heres how its gonna work:

The goal of FFF is to get as many people as we can to wear flip flops this friday. In order to get this done, we’re hosting this little event. We have over THREE HUNDRED FLIP FLOPS to circulate around campus. Didnt get any last time? Dont worry, this time around we want everyone who stops by to get a pair thats your own and your size… so this time around we’re limiting to one a pop.. sorry guys.

But in order to walk away with a pair, you literally need to walk away with a pair. The only catch is that you gotta slip on your new flippy floppys when you get em. Show em off with style.

Where we gonna be? Thats for you to find out. Because we were mobbed last time, we’ve decided to keep you on your toes. We will be somewhere near a central location on campus between 1230 and 330. Youll hear more updates the day of the event. Ill bring some tunes, maybe a frizbee or 2. Come by, enjoy the weather, grab some flip flops, listen to some tunes, and have a good time.

Want more? Immediately following the event, we will be posting a follow up contest that can score you some serious cash.

These events are for you! got a suggestion for one? post it on the wall.. its your campus, you should have some say in what we do. Stay classy BU. See you friday,

Mitch

Where will these mysterious flip flops be? How long will they last? Feel free to discuss here. Enjoy your free flip flips everyone! Hope you find them!
