Late Wednesday night, sports fans crowded the streets of Fenway and Kenmore in celebration of the Red Sox’s victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2013 World Series. Game 6 was held in Boston’s Fenway Park, and with a final score of 6-1, this was the first time the Red Sox captured the title while playing in Fenway Park since Babe Ruth was in the lineup back in 1918. The scene around the stadium was one of complete euphoria as fans cheered, cried, and hugged each other.
