Worst Case Scenario: Freshman Edition

Case 2: Embarrassingly Locked Out

You are standing outside of your room at 3am after taking a late-night shower and realize that you accidentally locked yourself out. Your roommate is gone for the weekend, and your RA is not answering the door when you knock.

Find the RA on call—“If your RA’s not at home, there is an RA on call schedule that should be either posted on your RA’s door, or in a visible location in the common area of your house,” says Mr. Zamojski. “You should call the RA on call for help to gain access to your room.” Then, you won’t be forced to wander around the building in just your towel. “You needn’t feel like there’s no place to go. There’s always an RA on call.”  In a situation like this, the RA on call will come to your door and unlock it for you.
